Full activity description

Your local bike guide picks you up at your hotel/apartment and before you reach the start of the ride (about 20 min from most downtown locations) you are going to discuss your fitness and skill level so that your guide can pick the best trails for you.

The trip starts with an easy 20 min warm-up ride on a cycle path following a Berounka river. After that, a mixture of easier and tougher climbs together with a number of fun trails follows. It’s you who chooses the stiffness of the ride but no matter how difficult trails you ride, there will always be dense forests, open meadows with great views and cute villages to enjoy.

After lunch in the Karlstejn Castle proximity, there are several ways to spend the rest of the afternoon. In case you’ve had enough riding (which could easily happen as you already climbed 400 - 700 vertical meters and covered 20-30 kms distance), you can explore the castle and surroundings on your own terms and come back to Prague on a train without worrying about the bike as your guide will take care of it.

Alternatively, you can enjoy a good rest and come back to town following your guide on a mix of cycling trails and easy single and double tracks around the Berounka River. In case you really want to push your limits, there are a number of very difficult enduro lines accessible from the river valley - for expert riders only.
